These Terms govern your use of SubQ Fluids: Cat Kidney Log ("the App") published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to them.
1. What the App is
The App is a record-keeping tool for people caring for a cat with chronic kidney disease. It logs subcutaneous fluid sessions, injection sites, fluid bags, daily check-ins, medications and lab results you enter, shows trends, sends local reminders you set up, and produces PDF and CSV exports.
2. Not veterinary advice
The App is not a medical device and does not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment.
- Always follow your veterinarian's instructions for fluid volume, frequency, medications and monitoring.
- The App does not recommend doses and does not assign an IRIS stage. Shaded reference bands on charts are taken from the International Renal Interest Society's published staging guidelines for cats and are shown for context only; only a veterinarian can stage your cat.
- Suggested injection sites are a rotation reminder based on what you logged, not clinical guidance.
- Reminders depend on iOS notification delivery and your device settings, and may be delayed or missed. Do not rely on them as the only prompt for time-critical care.
- If your cat is unwell, contact your veterinarian or an emergency clinic.
3. Your data
Your records are stored only on your device. You are responsible for keeping your own copy — the CSV export exists for that. We cannot recover data we never had.
4. Subscriptions
SubQ Fluids Premium is available as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and not to reverse engineer, modify or redistribute it except as permitted by law.
6. Intellectual property
The App, including its design and code, is owned by Bulpara Inc. IRIS staging guidelines are © International Renal Interest Society Ltd. and are referenced, not reproduced.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bulpara Inc is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions about your animal's care made on the basis of information in the App.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
