Getting started

How do I set up my cat?

After the intro screens, enter your cat's name and the fluid plan your vet gave you — how many mL, how often, and your usual time — and the bag size you're using. You can change any of it later in Settings → Cats.

How do I log a session?

Tap Log fluids. The volume comes from your plan and the suggested site is already selected, so for a routine session you just tap Save. Adjust anything that was different, and note if it leaked, a lump stayed longer than an hour, or you needed a re-stick.

How does site rotation work?

The app suggests whichever of the four zones — left or right shoulder, left or right flank — you used least recently, so it never suggests the same side twice in a row, and a side you keep skipping comes back to the front. Your vet may prefer specific sites; you can always pick a different one.

The fluid bag

How is "sessions left" worked out?

The bag's size minus every session logged since you opened it, divided by your plan volume. It turns orange at two sessions left. When you start a new bag, open it in the app (Today → Fluid bag) so the count starts fresh.

Lab results

What are the shaded bands on the charts?

The IRIS reference ranges for cats — the ranges vets use when staging chronic kidney disease — for creatinine and SDMA. They're there to help you follow the conversation with your vet. The app never works out a stage itself; enter the stage your vet gave you when you add a lab panel.

My lab reports creatinine in µmol/L.

Pick µmol/L next to the creatinine field, or in Settings → Units. The app converts for display and uses the published µmol/L ranges for the bands.

Reminders and the widget

When do reminders fire?

At your usual time, counted from the last session you actually logged — so if you're a day late, the next reminder moves too. If nothing is logged, you get one gentle follow-up the next morning. Medication reminders are part of Premium.

I tapped Log fluids on the widget by mistake.

For ten minutes after the widget logs a session it shows Undo. After that, open History and swipe the session to delete it.

Subscriptions

How do I restore Premium on a new iPhone?

Settings → Restore purchases. Note that your records don't move with it — the app has no cloud — so export a CSV from the old phone first.

How do I cancel?

Settings → Manage subscription, or in your Apple ID settings. Your logs stay; Premium features lock again at the end of the period.
